The new Maccas started being built on Thursday. It will be opening in 5 weeks and is set to be the biggest and busiest in the ACT.
Mark will be opening the store as the Second in Charge and may be Store Manager withing 12 months. It is on Northbourne Avenue - I took this photo from the middle of Northbourne, and it is actually in Epic Park right near the showground and all the cattle and sheep stalls.
A new woolies servo has been built next to it. They both have entrances on Northbourne and on the showground side. So they will get all the traffic from people travelling into and out of Canberra as well as all the showground crowd. Summernats will be extra busy as will show time!

PS the road out the front of my house is still the same as yesterday!!! MarK has been in bed most of the day sick with a cold/flu!
